Carmen Torbus recently released her new book The Artist Unique. It is a wonderful book full of mixed media techniques and a ton of inspiration. The book also features many artists who are my blogger friends. I even have a couple of pages in there. : ))) Congrats to Carmen on her amazing book!!!

I think this latest piece is a new favorite, Manon. The leaves are just exquisitely painted and make me realize how little I am able to achieve with a brush. I need to figure more things out! Put more thought into a piece. Sigh...Congrats on being part of this book. It looks lovely!

This is really great, your being in that lovely book, M! And the painting, well, it's just fabulous. The colors are so rich and warm and sensual, like a fire to curl up in front of - preferably with a snifter of cognac.
